Xbox One controller on windows 10 can get the driver update on Microsoft Windows 10 Store free app to update the Xbox One controller. They do support Xbox One Elite and PS4 Controller but they require driver update. There is some other problem, when some people don't have to change anything and it just works, others have to change settings to make their dpad work(which doesn't work for all of them), and others it just doesn't work at all, despite working in every other game with controller support. I tried making it use steam input, and I tried forcing steam input off, neither way helped. There are controller issues, otherwise there wouldn't be 20+ threads about controller issues.
I'm sure most people having these issues are clearly not doing enough to solve their own issue. You just gotta spend more then 30 seconds putting the game in big picture mode and configure your controller.įrom the start I could use my duelshock 4 just by enabling one of the default controller settings that makes the butttons be xbox controller inputs, and it worked flawlessly on my steam link.
